Reliance West Africa is gradually building a regionally-focused automotive arm. We act as an investor-distributor: we own the multi-brand dealerships, the technical workshops and the dedicated vehicles supporting financing and long-term leasing.
Our offering is built around the distribution of international brands, after-sales services aligned with manufacturer requirements, financing and leasing solutions for retail and corporate customers, as well as fleet management for institutional accounts.

The West African vehicle fleet is still largely composed of imported used cars that are unreliable and costly to maintain. RWA advocates a healthier model: new or near-new vehicles sourced directly, transparent service contracts, regulated financing. In the medium term, we are studying the setup of CKD/SKD assembly units to kick-start local industrialisation.
Workshops and dealerships operate to international manufacturer standards: continuous technician training, parts traceability, contractual warranties and environmental compliance on the treatment of used oils, batteries and tyres.

Automotive sits within a broader mobility logic that connects to our transport (utility fleets, last-mile logistics), technology (telematics, payments, fleet management platforms) and energy (EV charging within our real estate and commercial programmes) businesses.
