Civil engineering and public works for partner nations.

Infrastructure underpins the continent's economic and social transformation: roads, bridges, urban amenities and road networks.

Approach

Our commitment to this sector

Reliance West Africa acts as a programme manager on civil engineering operations: technical studies, financial engineering, mobilisation of works contractors and execution supervision. Our role is to bring reliability to often fragmented value chains and to honour the cost, schedule and quality commitments expected by public clients.

Our teams deploy the skills required for complex operations: BIM modelling, roads and utility networks, structural works, building civil engineering, delegated project management and the structuring of public-private partnerships. This breadth allows us to address both full urban extensions and targeted equipment.

Bridges and road networks — every major RWA programme relies on structuring public infrastructure.

In Togo and Burkina Faso, rapid urbanisation and an equipment deficit call for a qualitative leap. RWA brings the industrial discipline, budget arbitration capacity and documentary traceability that are often missing, working hand in hand with Ministries of Public Works and local authorities.

Each site is run to FIDIC standards, Eurocode norms or local equivalents, and environmental management plans aligned with multilateral lender requirements. Subcontractor traceability, occupational safety and material quality are contracted upfront.

BIM models, geotechnical studies, project management — engineering discipline starts on the drawing board.

Infrastructure is the natural extension of our real estate programmes: access roads, primary network connections, adjacent public amenities. It also feeds our energy work (substations, MV/LV cabling) and transport activities (logistics platforms, access roads), ensuring consistent territorial planning.
